Pac/West Lobby Group Adds Event Planning Specialist Josie Hankins
SALEM — Pac/West Lobby Group is pleased to announce the addition of Josie Hankins to the Association Management team as our Event Planning Director & Office Manager.
“Whether it’s a quarterly board meeting or an annual conference with thousands of invitees, planning and executing an event requires managing many moving parts to make sure every attendee has a positive experience,” said Ryan Tribbett, president of Pac/West Lobby Group. “Josie has a remarkable ability to understand her clients’ goals and needs, reduce anxiety during planning, take care of the individual details that can often be overlooked, and put on an event that showcases clients at their best.”
Hankins has two decades of experience in customer service, meeting planning, inventory, and budgeting. Because of her connections with venue, catering, and material vendors, she can be nimble in planning events tailored to each client’s needs.
“What I enjoy most about event planning is taking care of the big unknowns and reducing stress so people can actually enjoy the event they’ve invested so much time and energy on,” Hankins said. “If I can assure the client that the small details are taken care of, they can focus their energy on the big picture of what the event means for their organization.”
Josie grew up in Salem and attended American University’s School of International Service in Washington, D.C. Since moving back to Oregon, she has been a catering director and planned various events. She has been a volunteer coach and enjoys watching her son play football as a South Salem High School senior.
