Pac/West Lobby Group Adds Lena Prine to Legislative and Public Affairs Team
Pac/West Lobby Group is pleased to announce the hire of Lena Prine as director of legislative and government affairs. Prine’s wide range of experience in the legislature, business community, and working with natural resources will benefit Pac/West’s clients.
Prine is a native Oregonian whose background combines the urban perspective of Portland with aspects of the Willamette Valley. She worked as a legislative assistant and campaign manager for former state Rep. Raquel Moore-Green (R-Salem) from 2020 to 2023, and has served as director of business advocacy for the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.
While assisting with policy overview on Moore-Green’s varied committee assignments, Prine said she recognized the importance of maintaining a common touch and listening closely to both sides of an issue.
“I have an open mind and an intense curiosity for diverse perspectives, which will hopefully lead to effecting positive change in Oregon,” Prine said. “My objective is to build meaningful connections with our partners and clients, providing them with comprehensive legislative insights that directly affect their business or association.”
Prine has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a marketing option from Oregon State University. She is also a recent graduate of the nonprofit Resource Education & Agricultural Leadership Program — commonly referred to as REAL Oregon — which aims to increase knowledge and advocacy for agriculture statewide.
Ryan Tribbett, president of Pac/West Lobby Group, said Prine’s breadth of experience working in government affairs, small business, and natural resources make her a perfect fit representing the firm’s range of clients.
“Lena is adept at working with both urban and rural stakeholders, understanding their needs to help drive solutions and compromise. She has seen firsthand how legislators work behind the scenes, and what kinds of messages resonate with them to develop better, smarter policies,” Tribbett said.
Prine lives in Salem with her husband and two children. When not working, she enjoys hot yoga, reading, and quilting.
